On October 15, 2012, The Eve Fenton Love-All Foundation hosted an Honoree Fundraiser event at the Vanderbilt Suites, in the Met Life Building. Funds were raised to benefit the research of life threatening and terminal medical conditions in children and young adults. The medical conditions include formidable cancer, diabetes, neurological and vascular conditions. The recipients of these funds are Roosevelt Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital, Downstate Medical Center and a Brooklyn Foundation for children battling terminal cancer.

The night included an inundation of rain that in some circles would be considered a prelude to super storm Sandy. Each and every bucket of rain showered one and all with a rainbow treasure chest of honors including Trophies of Excellence and Proclamations and Citations presented to Vicki Fenton. Fun and laughter rang out from all the enthusiastic guests, which included our sponsors: Moet Hennessy – imported wine; Carmine's – imported champagne; Matles Studio Floral Designs, which was tantamount to a coronation; Patina Group of Restaurants provided our gourmet hors d'oeuvres and food and the Fire Department of New York, who presented information on fire safety and they must be considered at all times, the best of the best.

A benediction by the acclaimed by Dr. Leonard Blank was an inspiration to one and all. The great clergyman presented the guests with a generic prayer for all religions, cultures and creeds with style and grace.

The entertainment was diversified commencing with our favorite comedian, Bob Greenberg and he was a fabulous Master of Ceremonies; Mike Torro followed with his own classic style; the dynamic Joel Landy had one and all sing along with him enjoying upbeat folk music; Julie Lauren Stevens, a soprano, sang songs from Broadway musicals and operas.

Vicki Fenton, CEO and President, received Proclamations of Honor and Citations from New York City and New York State governmental officials: New York State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos; Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer. She was told that two more Proclamations were forthcoming from state and city government, which were delayed due to State matters and the upcoming election. Honorees included: Patina Group of Restaurants; Dr. Alejandro Berenstein, acclaimed neurological and vascular surgeon and our Executive Medical Director; and the number one drug store in New York and the northeast, Duane Reade, a great humanitarian company. The above mentioned were all presented with Trophies of Excellence.
