The Museum of American Finance proved to be a great sponsor to the Baruch students and senior high school students taking courses at Baruch College. The venue was an inspirational financial literacy outreach program.
The day commenced with a tour of the Museum for the students. Great energizing treats from Ben’s Deli, Second Ave. Deli, Justino’s Pizzeria, Fresco 57, D’Agostino Supermarket, Gristedes and special desserts from Ben’s Deli, Korn’s Bakery, Ruthy’s Bakery, Ferrara Bakery & Café and Veniero’s Bakery. An oversized thank you to these great sponsors.
Next on the agenda was the presentation of a Proclamation of Honor to our Foundation from Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, presented by Daniel Kamelhar, professor at Baruch College. Thereafter, Vicki gave an inspirational speech to the students, asserting that “Determination is the gateway to success.” TM Additionally she asserted, “Self motivation will overcome all challenges with perennial remuneration”.
Bill Dobrow, a financial consultant to the Foundation, gave the students an adrenalin shot by indoctrinating them with knowledge regarding power point financial aspects and numerous financial enlightening ventures and prospects.
What a successful climate filled with the pinnacle of enthusiasm!
Kudos are extended to Richard McDonald for the transportation to this event and our great photographers, Jim Manley, Aubrey Lloyd Hattingh, our special intern, Oypin Chan and to one of our great sponsors, Staples, for their very nice donation.
