On Thursday, April 4, 2013, the Eve Fenton Love-All Foundation hosted the Super 8th Annual Runathon, working in concert with the great New York Road Runners Foundation. This event proved to be the mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of the super 8. The event showcased a superlative effort by the dedication, support and partnership generating jubilation for the kiddos and humanitarian partners.

The Runathon commenced with anticipation, excitement, teamwork and most of all, determination to receive the trophy and the mouth watering and special gourmet food and treats of the day. A fairy tale story laced with a reality super event. The conclusion to this special event was the presentation of an innovative trophy which included a marble base and marble top supporting a figure of a runner. The remuneration of this creative event were the beautiful smiles on the faces of the children and the memories that will be sustained for years to come.

The first gigantic thank you is to the FDNY Fire Safety Division and Fire Fighters Tom McKeon and Rich.      A gigantic thank you to Jazmin Conyers, for her fabulous and innovative photography. Her dedication to the youngsters and her great humanitarian effort for the kiddos substantiates the fact that the appellation of humanitarian is true and accurate.

In essence, an oversized family thank you to the one and only great Cliff Sperber, Executive Director of Youth and Community Services for the New York Road Runners Foundation and his team work for the health and welfare of youths, supporting the Eve Fenton Love-All Foundation, has been an immeasurable and incredible effort for our future generation. Not withstanding, German Martinez, Manager of Youth Events and Training at the New York Road Runners Foundation, navigated to make this a great endeavor, working tirelessly to see to it that the Runathon was a huge success.

Love, laugh and be happy with the health to carry on a Runathon mission for our future generation.
