The Eve Fenton Love-All Foundation made its debut at the very special inaugural event on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Blythedale Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Thank you to Lena Cavanna, Director of Community Relations, for coordinating a very super fall event for the patients in the pediatric Child Life unit.
Our very jovial comedians, Bob Greenberg and Joe Bevilaqua, performed with joy and laughter for one and all. The children formed a circle around both comedians. Bob and Joe proved that they were the best of the best. Laughter is the best medicine for these children due to the fact that they face very serious medical conditions.
Thank you to our many sponsors including: Sergio’s and Esposito’s Restaurants – new sponsors and the best of the best as humanitarians. Both of these restaurants deserve a round of applause and kudos. Our very special Famous Famiglia Pizzas made this event a gourmet holiday. D’Agostino’s and Gristedes joined the crowd with their special treats. The New York Yankees, the FDNY, Pillow Paws and many more dream team sponsors donated an abundance of items. Lori Bevilaqua, photographer for the day, turned out some special photos for this inaugural event. Israel Maldonado and his friend went out of their way to pick up the very lovely donation from Famous Famiglia in White Plains and brought it to the Medical Center for the event. A very grand thank you, to these very special gentlemen.
The Eve Fenton Love-All Foundation looks forward to an ongoing annual event at this well established, inspirational and dedicated Blythedale Medical Center. To quote my beloved mother, Eve Fenton, “Reach for a star and you will be blessed with a galaxy” TM and we are blessed with our connection with the galaxy of stars at the Blythedale Medical Center.
