February 29, 2012, turned out to be a day of memories for the youngsters at the Roosevelt Pediatric Intensive Care Child Life Unit and Emergency Room. Great food, especially coming from Carmine’s Restaurant, Abitino’s and Famiglia Pizzeria’s, was appreciated by one and all, puddings and jellos from the one and only Kozy Shack Company, proved to be a sumptuous dessert. not withstanding, the incredible taste of Siggi’s yogurts, the delectable cookies from Ferrara’s Bakery was the gift wrapping for a special lunch. D’Agostino’s and Gristedes gave some delectable treats.
The gifts came from Pillow Paws, PepsiCola Company, the New York Fire Department, the New Jersey Devils, the New York Health and Racquet Club, the Broadway Comedy Club and our Foundation.
The best part of this event were the great comedians Bob Greenberg and Jonathan Smith bringing joy and laughter one and all. The Fire Department has been present at 99{042581f7340674940903dde6ed2aac1e43225ccf138b436d000cd211370459b2} of our events and the FDNY brought not only favors but that special gift of love, Hot Dog.
